E Med.

i finally have half a day free to my own stuff.. :) and its mother's day, but my mum doesn't wanna do anything but sleep, soo...

anws, after the hectic Emergency Med, comes Psy, which is supposed to be slack. only tt it isn't seeing tt my days are 8.30 - 5 everyday. well, but i am pleased tt i'm at CGH - its so near my place! and i must say that the student welfare is excellent!! underground parking, aircon everywhere, lockers and a huge student lounge! and there is food everywhere.. :) haha, excellent.

so onto the photos.. these were taken after the Emed test, which went rather well (first time a viva exam went well for me - i always get really mean ass examiners).

and this is a typical ty face while singing - the gek sai face. and he has this vein tt pops out whenever he sings..

and this was a series of pictures that aud and ty were taking. this is 5. there were taking 1-9, and poor amanda was sandwiched there, trying to avoid the lens. oh, ty and amanda are the PERFECT duo when it comes to singing duets. they both have fantastic voices and are really drama haha. its a joy to hear them sing! :)

after our KTV session, we headed down to Gourmet Plus for dinner.. this was the complimentary foie gras with some really good jelly. its not the pan fried sort, and somehow, quite a few pple did not like it.. but i found it really nice!

this is the veal cheek. well, i didn't really try it, but it looks nice.. :D new item!

this was the lamb shank, which was really good. such tender lamb! :D

squid ink pasta. well, this wasn't the best i've tried, but the calms were really juicy and good nonetheless. i have to order a plate of oysters the next time i go down!

duck confit.. my favourite. i love how the fats melt in yr mouth... MMMMM

and aud happily went to smooch the serviette, exclaiming in delight tt her lips were shaped really beautifully... ...

this dessert was quite good! :D its yam paste with almond paste.. :)

my beef rice.. i ate so much. was so hungry..

oh and this is one of the most delicious vanilla ice cream ever! think we had this at absolute haven. too bad the rest of the set lunch itself wasn't tt good. haha

and then lunch at Tao's with wanping, mich and claire. think wp still hasn't sent me the pix we took with her camera.. HMMM.

this salad was excellent!


yes, these lamb ribs were really fantastic :D


my pork ribs, which was just one of the best i ever had. but i was way too full to eat much sadly!

creme brulee!!

mich's pear.. lol. we were exploding by the end of our 7 course lunch.. seriously. only mich was still able to EAT. this place is highly recommended though! the service is excellent and the food is good. just make sure yr stomach has enough space.. :p
